How to Locate Information

• Navigate the Document by Section – Open the Member Handbook or Benefit Update file you would like to view by clicking on the link. Next, click on the "bookmark" icon (located to the left of the document, second icon from the top of the screen). Then click on the link for the section you would like to go to.



• Do a Word Search – Open the Member Handbook or Benefit Update file you would like to view by clicking on the link, then use the search feature to quickly find the information you need. To activate the Adobe Acrobat Reader search function, select the "find" feature under "edit." Then type in the topic (for example, emergency treatment) in the search box and hit the return key. You will be brought to the first mention of your selected topic. To proceed to the next mention of this text, hit return again; repeat this process until you get the message that Acrobat has finished searching the document.
